Alcove exhibit opens on Friday
Local artists will have their work on display beginning this weekend.
The Alcove Artists + Friends Holiday Show kicks off Friday at Arts Place in Portland.
Alcove, a group of visual and performing artists from Portland and the surrounding area, will have artwork in a variety of mediums on display. The exhibit runs through Dec. 30.
Instead of the traditional opening reception, there will be a “grab-n-go” reception Nov. 12 and 13. Individually packed favors will be available.
The exhibit is open during Arts Place’s regular hours — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.
