A Dunkirk man has been charged after he allegedly set a house on fire.
Paul A. Schick, 67, 214 E. Grand St., was arrested Wednesday and preliminarily charged with arson, a Level 4 felony.
He was later released from Jay County Jail on $22,000 bond.
An arson investigation concluded that Schick set a house on fire in Dunkirk on Monday, according to a Dunkirk Police Department press release. The investigation was conducted by the Dunkirk fire and police departments and state police and fire marshals.
The Dunkirk Police Department did not provide further details of the investigation or the incident this morning.
Schick was also preliminarily charged with obstruction of justice and perjury, both Level 6 felonies.
