Health insurance seminars offered

Help with health plans is being offered through a series of seminars.

MDwise is offering informational sessions for those who have health coverage through the Healthy Indiana Plan, as those individuals have until Dec. 15 to change their plans.

Virtual events will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 6. Additional online seminars will continue through mid December.

“We’re offering virtual events this year so our members and the community can stay safe during the pandemic,” said Jessica Cromer, MDwise CEO.

Craft night set

Jay Community Center will host a wine and craft night at 6 p.m. Nov. 6.

Participants will receive craft supplies, two glasses of wine and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $35, or $30 for senior citizens.
