Last week vs. Huntington North: Jay County allowed more than 500 rushing yards in a 47-8 loss to the Huntington North Vikings. Bailey Cox ran for a 33-yard touchdown for the Patriots’ only score so far this season. Cox rushed for 116 yards. It marked the second time in two years the Patriots started the year 0-2.
Season leaders: Passing — Sam Dunlavy – 3-fo-13 passing for 24 yards and one interception Rushing — Bailey Cox – 27 carries for 147 yards and one touchdown. Receiving — Quinn?Faulkner – one catch for 10 yards. Defense — Quinn Faulkner – 12 tackles.

Last week at Twin Lakes: Three turnovers plagued Seeger in a 42-15 loss to Twin Lakes. Seeger was coming off quarantine and only practiced two days prior to its game. Owen Snedeker had a touchdown pass to Khal Stephen, who also ran in another TD.
Season leaders: Passing — Owen Snedeker – 5-of-7 passing for 69 yards and one touchdown. Rushing — Khal Stephen – 11 carries for 73 yards and one touchdown. Receiving — Kahl Stephen – two receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown.
Game notes: This is the first meeting between the two schools located on opposite borders of the state of Indiana ... Seeger had its opening game against Parke Heritage canceled because of COVID-19 concerns. Seeger had to enter quarantine ... JCHS?and Seeger are approximately 135 miles apart, marking the furthest road trip for Jay County since going 132 miles to Mishawaka Marian in 2008 ... Seeger has won six sectional championships in its history. It was Class A state runner-up in 2003, during which it went 14-1, and won the state championship the following year with a perfect 15-0 record ...
