US Aggregates has proudly served Jay County for more than 50 years.

We directly employ 22 people and as a result of the quarry business we indirectly support another 107 jobs, which means 129 families can live and give back to this incredible community as a result of the work at the quarry.

As many in the community know, the quarry will run out of reserves in the next 3 to 5 years so we are in the process of seeking a rezoning of the area to allow continued work in this area.

While I knew we had a great US Agg family, I have been blown away by the support of the over 750 people who signed our online petition in support of this rezoning. It means the world to my team and me to know the breadth and depth of your support.

We will continue to address community concerns as they relate to our expansion, but I did not want to miss the opportunity to say thank you to the wonderful community in Portland, Indiana, for supporting our guys. #YellowsfortheFellows
