Child molesting

A Redkey man was arrested Thursday for child molesting.

Curtis W. Dixon, 63, 10964 W. 700 South, was preliminarily charged with a Level 4 felony.

He’s being held on a $15,000 bond in Jay County Jail.



Drug possession

Three Portland residents were arrested Thursday on drug charges.

Jamie E. Spencer, 32, 648 Katelynn Drive, was preliminarily charged with two Level 6 felonies for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug. She was also preliminarily charged with a Class C misdemeanor, and failed to appear in court for two Level 6 felonies, possession of a narcotic drug and theft. Spencer is being held in Jay County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

Craig A. Worley, 43, 648 Katelynn Drive, was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony for possession of methamphetamine, a Class A misdemeanor for possession of a controlled substance, a Class B misdemeanor for possession of marijuana and a Class C misdemeanor for possession of paraphernalia. Worley is being held in Jay County Jail on a $4,500 bond.

Kendrick L. Brown, 38, 504 W. Race St., was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony for possession of methamphetamine, a Class A misdemeanor for resisting law enforcement, a Class C misdemeanor for possession of paraphernalia and a Class C misdemeanor for operating a vehicle without a license. Brown was released from Jay County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
