Fire department says thank you

To the editor:

Portland Fire Department would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that attended our sixth annual chili lunch and took the time to check out the new ladder truck.

We are very grateful for the continued support the community shows toward us.

With your generosity we will again be able to have our annual awards banquet.

The excess money raised will be donated to local charities as it has been in the past.
