Dealing drugs

A Portland woman was arrested Wednesday for dealing drugs.

Blazelyn G. Shaneyfelt, 31, 1119 W. North St., was preliminarily charged the following: a Level 2 felony for dealing in cocaine, methamphetamine or narcotic drugs; two Level 6 felonies for possession of cocaine, methamphetamine or narcotic drugs and unlawful possession of a syringe; a Class A misdemeanor for possession of paraphernalia. She’s being held in Jay County Jail on $47,000 bond.



Probation violation

A Redkey woman was arrested Wednesday for violating her probation.

Tara L. Devoss, 42, 232 E. Bell Ave., has an original charge for criminal trespassing, a Level 6 felony. She’s being held in Jay County Jail on $600 bond.



Drug possession

Two people were arrested Saturday for drug possession.

Ryan A. Nelson, 36, 2801 W. Cypress Drive, Muncie, was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony for possession of cocaine, methamphetamine or narcotic drugs, a Class A misdemeanor for driving with a suspended license and a Class C misdemeanor for operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. Nelson was released from Jay County Jail on $4,500 bond.

Cassandra R. Myers, 43, 4802 S. 850 East, Portland, was preliminarily charged with the following: a Level 6 felony for possession of cocaine, methamphetamine or narcotic drugs; a Level 6 felony for obstructing justice; a Class A misdemeanor for resisting an officer; a Class B misdemeanor for possession of marijuana; and a Class C misdemeanor for possession of paraphernalia. She is being held in Jay County Jail without bond.
