Myers, Walker lead 4-H sheep show

A young pair of 4-H members took home sheep awards this year.

Kylinn Myers showed the grand champion market lamb, a blackface cross, and Tinley Walker showed the grand champion ewe, a hamp, at the 4-H Sheep Show on July 14.

Myers was also named beginner showman and showed the champion commercial blackface ewe, hampshire and oxford market lambs. Walker won the champion title for natural colored market lambs and reserve champion title for oxford and shrop market lambs.

Chloe Campbell, who showed a blackface cross which was the reserve champion market lamb this year, won reserve grand champion honors at the 2019 show. Campbell also won the grand champion market lamb title in 2020. This year, she was named junior showman and showed the champion natural colored market lamb and reserve champion blackface cross market lamb.

Luke Fugiett took home the title of reserve grand champion ewe with a dorset, and he was also named intermediate showman.
