Felony arrests
Failed to appear
An Upland man was arrested Tuesday for failing to appear in court.
Timothy S. Southerland, 42, 601 E. Washington St., has three original charges, two Level 6 felonies for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and a Class A misdemeanor for having a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15% or higher. He’s being held in Jay County Jail without bond.
Probation violation
A Redkey man was arrested Tuesday for violating his probation.
Joey R. Franks, 36, 533 N. Meridian St., has an original Level 6 felony charge for possession of methamphetamine.
He was later released from?Jay County Jail on $5,000 bond.
