Swiss Heritage Village opening

Swiss Heritage Village opens Thursday for tours.

Its annual haystack luncheon is also coming up.

Swiss Heritage Village features an indoor museum with local historical artifacts and an outdoor museum of historical buildings. Guided tours will be available at 1200 Swiss Way, Berne, until 3 p.m. daily, excluding Sundays and holidays.

Also, Swiss Heritage Village’s annual haystack luncheon is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 11 in the barn on the village grounds. Donations will be accepted for the dinner and live music.



Senior learning

Angie Clark, co-owner of Wheel and Spoke Antique Mall, will be giving a presentation on how to upcycle unusual items as new decor pieces during John Jay Center for Learning’s senior learning series at noon Thursday. Reservations for the lunch cost $5.



Volunteers needed

EverHeart Hospice is looking for volunteers.

The nonprofit organization offering hospice and palliative care is recruiting volunteers to help with patients in west central Ohio and east central Indiana.
