Failed to appear
A Portland woman was arrested Thursday for failing to appear in court.
Dede R. Bisel, 53, 1210 N. Franklin St., is charged in Jay Circuit Court with a Level 6 felony for the alleged crime. She failed to appear in court for the following charges: dealing methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony; battery with injury to a public safety officer, a Level 5 felony; battery by bodily waste to a public safety officer, Level 6 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
Bisel was being held without bond in Jay County Jail.
