Passionate plunge
Clement Hortlander (yellow shirt), Bailey Hartman (black shirt), Connor Helsen (blue shorts) and Cara Brockman (red shirt), all of Muncie, jump into the pond just north of Accelerated Curing in Portland Saturday morning as part of the Splashin’ with a Passion: Peggy’s Plunge sponsored by Portland Fire Department and United Way of Jay County. Money raised by pledges will go to Jay County Special Olympics, Jay County Cancer Society, Jayland Homeless Shelter and other local non-profit organizations. (The Commercial Review/Andrew Balko)
