Roberto and Sharon Aparicio are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary today.
Sharon (Westerman) and Roberto Aparicio wed June 11, 1969, in El Monte, California. They’ve lived in Portland for 14 years.
Roberto Aparicio retired from Norfolk Southern Railway and is currently a bus driver for Muncie Community Schools. Aparicio works as a caregiver for AID of Indiana.
They are the parents of Lisa Shook, Robert Aparicio and Jesse Aparicio, and they have five grandchildren.
The Aparicios plan to have a family gathering and dinner at their home in Portland.
