Jessee receives service award
Indiana School Resource Officers Association selected Jay School Corporation school resource officer Cody Jessee as a Regional Exceptional Service Award recipient.
The award is given to a school resource officer who “embodies the qualities of a counselor, teacher, and law enforcement officer.” A press release said Jessee shows “outstanding dedication” and “exemplary service” in his role.
"We are incredibly proud of Officer Jessee and his unwavering dedication to our students and staff," said Jay Schools superintendent Jeremy Gulley. "His ability to serve as a mentor, educator, and protector has made a profound impact on our school community, and this recognition is well-deserved.”
Jessee will be honored during the Indiana School Resource Officers Association awards luncheon June 26 at Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City.
