A Portland woman was arrested Wednesday for violating her probation.

Misty D. George, 47, 995 S. Boundary Pike, pleaded guilty in Jay Superior Court to maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony. She was sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but two days suspended and given credit for time served. A petition alleging she violated the conditions of her probation was filed June 12.

George was released on a $550 bond from Jay County Jail.
