Thank you for supporting event

To the editor:

Last month, a fundraising event was held to remember Mandy Theurer.

Mandy was a lifelong resident of Jay County who at the age of 26 was killed in a single car accident nine years ago. Mandy’s family and friends host this event to remember Mandy and to raise funds to help those in need in our community. 

We would like to thank everyone for their generous support of our efforts by either donating or bidding on an auction item or attending the meal. If you sent us a monetary donation, thank you. If you thought of us and of what we are trying to do, thank you. If you thought of Mandy that day and smiled, thank you.

We appreciate you all, for the kind words, the monetary generosity and all that pertains to what we do. We don’t know how much longer we will be able to do this event, but we know we have the support of our community and those we serve.
