Taking Note

Swiss Heritage Village is open for the summer touring season.

The village — it’s home to 12 historical buildings telling the story of early settlers in America who made their home in Adams County and the Berne area — is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. The last tour of each day leaves at 3 p.m. Reservations are requested in advance. Tours last approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Also, Swiss Heritage Village is offering food trucks from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each Monday through September.
