Resisting police
A Portland man was arrested Monday for resisting police and various other charges.
Jose S. Jimenez-Jimenez, 18, 70900 W. Walnut St., was preliminarily charged with two Level 6 felonies for resisting law enforcement and possession of cocaine, a Class A misdemeanor for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor for leaving the scene of an accident and three Class C misdemeanors for consuming alcohol as a minor, possession of paraphernalia and driving without a license.
He was being held on a $3,000 bond in Jay County Jail.
Methamphetamine
A Bryant man was arrested Monday for possession of methamphetamine.
Ernest M. Fifer, 51, 203 E. Main St., was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony. He was being held on a $4,500 bond in Jay County Jail.
