Hit bridge
A Dunkirk man’s vehicle struck a bridge on Indiana 67 in Jay County about 5 p.m. Friday.
Sean A. Winget was driving his 2014 Jeep Wrangler south on the highway south of county road 75 South when his vehicle began to sway because of an overloaded trailer, according to a Jay County Sheriff’s Office report.
He told police the vehicle’s bumper broke in half, causing it to spin and hit the bridge.
Damage is estimated between $1,000 and $2,500. His vehicle was towed.
