Sorority news - Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025
Eta Chi chapter of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority met Sept. 2 for a business meeting at Mount Tabor Hall in Dunkirk. Kris Cook opened the meeting with pledge. Julie Terrell read the minutes of the last meeting, and they were approved. Shari Van Nuland gave the treasurer’s report. There was a discussion about selling apple dumplings and coffee at the Main Street USA Fall Festival on Oct. 4. The chapter decided to order 125 apple dumplings to sell. We will take individual orders starting Oct. 7. Orders must be turned in Oct. 21.
Marlene Clevenger won the 50/50 drawing. The meeting was closed with a prayer. The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 to celebrate the chapter’s birthday at Mount Tabor Hall.
