Highway, street departments prep for weather
Plow trucks sit in line Friday at Jay County Highway Department. County employees prepared vehicles Thursday for extreme cold and snow this weekend. The forecast calls for 10 to 15 mph winds and snow starting to fall tonight, when the low may hit 8 degrees. Sunday’s low may dip to 2 degrees, with as much as 10 inches of snow possible.
