Finals opportunity
After a rocky first half, the Jay County High School girls basketball team cruised past the Delta Eagles 53-35 in the IHSAA Class 3A sectional semifinal Friday night at Yorktown to make it back to the sectional final for the first time since 2021. It was their 20th consecutive victory.

The Jay County Junior High School wrestling team breezed by the Monroe Central Golden Bears for a 78-21 victory Monday evening.

The Jay County High School boys basketball team finished Saturday’s game on a 15-7 run over the final eight minutes to take down the Blackford Bruins 56-43.
