The Jay County High School boys tennis team split a pair of games at the Patriot Invitational on Saturday. The Patriots fell to the Wabash Apaches 3-2 before bouncing back with a 4-1 victory over the Elwood Panthers.

Looking for more
The Patriots have yet to reach the type of tennis their coach believes they are capable of achieving. But they were able to pick up a victory in the final match before a two-week stretch that includes all three of their conference matches and the Patriot Invitational.
Patriots to host No. 2 AC
The Jay County High School football team (3-0, 1-0 Allen County Athletic Conference) will host Class 1A No. 2 Adams Central (3-0, 0-0 ACAC) at 7 p.m. Friday.
