Bearcats buried
During a 1-5 start, there wasn’t much opportunity for the Patriots to show killer instinct. In recent wins, they saw double-digit leads slip away. But in the third quarter Tuesday, they made sure Muncie Central would have no opportunity to rally.

The Patriots slipped to 0-2 before picking up their first victory.

Oak Hill threatened to hand the Patriots their first lost. But the home team came through in the final event.
FRHS boys hold off Patriot rally
Both teams had been there before. For the Patriots, it was the inability to put the ball in the basket. For the Indians, it was letting a large lead slip away.
Jay girls stay perfect at home
The foul shooting wasn’t pretty in the final two minutes. The Patriots made enough free throws to survive.

Eliza Bader won three out of four events for the Patriots. But Celina was stronger throughout its lineup.
