To the editor: It’s been just over a year since the Jayland Revival Movement started and dozens of people have joined into prayer along with several churches and other revival groups, all working together to see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this area.

To the editor: Thanks to weekly support from a group of up to 16 loyal vendors and to many loyal local customers, the farmers’ market that moved from Arts Place to the courthouse square in Portland has witnessed a successful summer.
Lake no flooding solution
As I understand it, there are plans in the works to make the stone quarry near Portland into a lake in about 10 years or when it ceases operations.
