Jay County High School swim teams took care of business against the Adams Central Jets on Monday with the girls rolling to 170-70 win and the boys coming out on top 136-112
First in ECIC
The Class 2A No. 10 host Patriots got championships from Corbin Lothridge, Griffin Byrum, A.J. Heskett, Jacob Robinson and Alan Ortiz as they cruised to the ECIC championship, scoring 226 points to outdistance runner-up Central Noble (182.5) and third-place Alexandria (175) in a field of 17 scoring teams.

One day after picking up its first win, the Fort Recovery High School boys basketball team exploded for 43 first-half points en route to an 82-50 victory over the Ansonia Tigers on Saturday.

Kennedy Muhlenkamp and Karlie Niekamp combined for 13 fourth-quarter points as the Fort Recovery High School girls basketball team picked up a 44-37 win over the Memorial Roughriders on Tuesday.

All of the Patriots found a way to contribute as the Jay County High School girls basketball team outplayed the Blackford Bruins in nearly every facet Tuesday to power a 57-21 win that got it back to 0.500 on the season.
