The families of Joe Bruns (above) and Ed Wehrkamp (below) were invited onto the field at Friday night’s Fort Recovery High School football game against Urbana as each was honored for their contributions. Bruns, who died Thursday, was a longtime teacher and coach at FRHS, including the girls golf coach at the time of his death. Wehrkamp was one of the driving forces for the creation of the Indians’ football program and longtime support of Indian athletics. (The Commercial Review/Ray Cooney)
