Wynnie Hardwick, 3, takes a bite of a snack of graham cracker, M&Ms and chocolate frosting during story time Tuesday morning at Jay County Public Library in Portland. Children sang songs, listened to stories about music and then visited stations that offered toys, crafts, games, finger painting and snacks. The next family story time at the library is scheduled for 10 a.m. Oct. 24. It is also holding a Fall into Fun event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with activities including an indoor maze, games, popcorn, apple cider pumpkin picking and wagon rides.
