Fort Recovery High School junior Caleb Smith chips onto the 18th green at Portland Golf Club during the Indians’ golf match on Aug. 15. After struggling in that match, he returned to the scoring column on Monday with a 44 at Mercer County Elks. His score ended as the fourth-best for Fort Recovery as it beat New Bremen 164-183 to stay perfect in conference heading into a match against Minster. (The Commercial Review/Andrew Balko)
