Fireworks light up the sky over Dunkirk City Park on Saturday night in this view looking north from the intersection of Washington and Center streets. Independence Day activities continue with the 4th of July parade at 11 a.m. Thursday in Portland followed by a celebration at Jay County Fairgrounds concluding with fireworks at dusk.
