Miller was part of a group of several Jay County Girl Scout troops placing flags at the cemetery on county road 500 West, just north of Indiana 26. Memorial Day services scheduled for this weekend include 2 p.m. Sunday at Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant; 9 a.m. Monday at Claycomb Cemetery in Greene Township; 10 a.m. at the Redkey War Mother’s Memorial Monument; 11 a.m. Monday at Green Park Cemetery in Portland; and 11:15 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery south of Redkey.
