Ava May of the Jay County High School girls basketball team puts up a jumper from the short corner during the first half of the Patriots’ 50-45 victory over the Adams Central Jets on Friday. The comeback victory elevated the Patriots above .500 at 4-3 and got them off on the right foot in the Allen County Athletic Conference with a 1-0 start.
