A storm that blew through Portland about 7:30 p.m. Monday resulted in a tree snapping on the property of Trinity Arch Bridge Church in Portland. The tree blocked most of Meridian Street (U.S. 27) just south of the arch bridge. (The Commercial Review/Ray Cooney)
