Fort Recovery High School senior Anna Roessner receives her third medal of the evening from FRHS assistant coach Kierra Wendeel. She was dominant again, going essentially unchallenged in her victories in the 100-meter dash, 200 dash and 400 dash. She will run in the state finals beginning Friday. FRHS baseball team wins district championship, Roessner takes home three awards
Friday was a big night for Fort Recovery High School athletics as the baseball team repeated as the district champion while senior Anna Roessner won three championships during the Division III regional track meet. Pictured, Gavin Evers, Caden Homan and the rest of the Fort Recovery High School baseball team begin to mob Colson Post (helmet) after he delivered the walk-off double that claimed the OHSAA Division VI Southwest 3 District title in the ninth inning at Houston.
