The Jay County High School volleyball team controlled the net Monday night in a season-opening victory over Randolph Southern, 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.
Jay County (1-0) took the opening game easily, and after falling behind 4-1 in game two, the Patriots took command with a 12-0 run and did not trail again the rest of the evening.
