Breaking: Jay gets first win

Jay County wanted to move on from its 4-0 loss Tuesday at Richmond.
It only needed 123 seconds Thursday.
Gabbie Mann scored in the third minute and added two more goals as the Jay County High School girls soccer team dismantled the visiting Heritage Patriots, 5-1. It was the first conference victory for the host Patriots.
Jay County (1-1, 1-0 Allen County Athletic Conference) scored four straight goals — all in the first 14 minutes of the match. Catherine Dunn and Stormi Canterbury both added their first goals of the season.
