The championship games will be Saturday, with the boys’ title game beginning at 6 p.m. and the girls’ game to follow.

Rain halts lead
VERSAILLES — The Indians were on their way to their 13th straight win Tuesday.
Then the rain stepped in.
The Fort Recovery High School baseball team was leading the Versailles Tigers 3-0 when the game was called in the fifth inning because of inclement weather.
The game will resume at 5 p.m. Monday.
Fort Recovery (12-1) scored twice in the top of the second inning, when Blake Boughman reached on an error. Jacob Muhlenkamp bunted for a single, and Kent Retz sacrificed the runners into scoring position. Then, Jackson Hobbs doubled to right field to score Boughman and Muhlenkamp.
The Tribe added one more run in the third when Mitch Stammen and Cole Wendel hit back-to-back singles. Elijah Kahlig moved the runners over on a sacrifice and then Boughman grounded out to the shortstop to drive in Stammen.
Hobbs started on the mound for the Indians, striking out two before the game was suspended.
