FORT RECOVERY — The Eels were even better at home than they have been on the road.
Seven different swimmers won three events apiece as the Fort Recovery Summer Swim Team cruised to an 887-312 victory Monday over the Greenville Waves at Ambassador Pool.
The Eels, who won their first two meets by slim margins on the road, swept the individual events in the 9-10-year-old boys division. Gavin Thobe finished first in the butterfly, long freestyle and individual medley while Regan Martin took the backstroke, breaststroke and short freestyle.
In the 11-12-year-old division, Carley Stone earned victories in the girls backstroke, butterfly and short freestyle. Owen Sheridan added wins in the boys freestyle, butterfly and short freestyle.
Aidan Sheridan took the 8-and-younger long freestyle, butterfly and backstroke, Cori Stone was first in the 13-14-year-old girls long freestyle, butterfly and individual medley and Andy Gray won the 15-and-older boys long freestyle, breaststroke and short freestyle.
Fort Recovery got two wins apiece from Ava Bubp, Audra Bubp, Marshall Hull and Nolan Thobe. Claire Kinder, Nora Vaughn, Olivia Acheson, Payton Thobe, Sophie Timmerman, Alexis Bubp, Henry Knapke, Grace Klingshirn, Ben Grieshop, Kady Ellenbarger, Valerie Muhlenkamp, Gabe Grieshop, Kelsey Evers and Cassidy Martin each added one victory.
