Eels remain unbeaten

The Fort Recovery Eels are now 4-0 for the summer season after defeating Union City’s Tigersharks 826-361.
The Eels were dominant, with three swimmers picking up three first place finishes.
Cassidy Martin took first in the 11-12 girls short free, fly, and IM. Alexis Bubp finished first in the 13-14 girls butterfly, IM, and short free. Audra Bubp finished first in the 8-under girls IM, breaststroke, and short free.
Eels taking two first place finishes included Caitlin Wendel in the 8-under girls short free and backstroke, Ava Bubp in the 9-10 girls short free and butterfly, Owen Sheridan in the 11-12 boys short free and IM, Cori Stone in the 15-over girls butterfly and IM, and Regan Martin in the 9-10 boys IM and short free.

Fort Acme wins
Kent Retz went the distance on the mound Tuesday as Fort Acme topped Marion Local 7-1.
Retz is now 3-2 for the summer, while Fort Recovery Acme is 8-3 overall and 5-2 in league play.
Fort Recovery scored five times in the fifth inning to break open the game.[[In-content Ad]]
