Fort swimmers top Coldwater
Fort Recovery Eels
FORT RECOVERY — Eight swimmers won multiple events Wednesday as the Fort Recovery Eels summer swim team beat the Coldwater Cudas 341-220.
Carley Stone and Nolan Thobe were triple event winners in the 13-14-year-old division.
They both took first in the 50-meter butterfly and the 100 individual medley. Stone also won the 50 backstroke, and Thobe placed first in the 50 breaststroke.
Cori Stone won three events in the 15-and-older division, placing first in the 50 freestyle, 100 individual medley and 50 butterfly.
In the 9-10-year-old division, Kyra Clark earned the top spot in the 25 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 100 IM events.
Teigan Fortkamp also won three events in the 8-and-younger girls division.
Double-event winners were Sage Wendel, Regan Martin and Mackinley Timmerman.
Makena Ellenberger, Aiden Elsass, Kierra Wendel, Ava Bubp, Valerie Muhlenkamp, Cassidy Martin, Noah Homan, Audra Bubp, Henry Knapke, Sophie Timmerman, Payton Thobe and Mitchell Homan also picked up wins for the Eels.[[In-content Ad]]
