Scholarship created

The memory of Amy Meyer will be honored at South Adams High School with a scholarship in her name.

The inaugural scholarship will be presented this spring to a senior female athlete at SAHS. Meyer, who was an assistant cross country coach for the Starfires, was killed in a shooting in Wells County in October.

Meyer had a stand-out basketball career at South Adams, and went on to play basketball for the University of St. Francis. She also ran cross country for the Cougars.

The Adams County Community Foundation will administer the scholarship.[[In-content Ad]]
