Jay Co. girls remain undefeated

The undefeated streak continued Tuesday for the Jay County middle school girls swim team as it picked up a 105-80 victory over South Adams. The boys team lost, 133-47.

Aly Lucas was the lone double winner of the night for the Jay County girls, taking first place in the 50-yard butterfly and 400 freestyle. Katy Smeltzer, Anne Vormohr, Sophie Bader and Rhianon Mills each added a single individual win.

Bader, Vormohr, Smeltzer and Caitlin Mark combined to win all three relays.

Zane Shreve posted the only two victories for the Jay County boys. Evan Mathias added a runner-up effort.[[In-content Ad]]
