WAUSSAU, Wisc. - Josh Ludy made his lone trip to the plate Thursday night count.
The 2008 Jay County High School graduate came off the bench for the Wisconsin Woodchucks and singled in his only at bat. The Woodchucks fell 5-1 to the Battle Creek Bombers.

A pair of members of the Jay County High School girls tennis team have earned awards.
Megan Huntsman, who played No. 1 doubles this season, earned Academic All-State honors from the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association. Hannah McAbee, No. 2 singles, picked up All-Olympic Athletic Conference honorable mention.[[In-content Ad]]
