The Scots (13-2) took control of game one with 10 runs in the first two innings on the way to ending the game early. They were up 3-0 in game two before pulling away with five runs in the fourth inning.
Brittney Watson suffered the game-one defeat, giving up 11 runs - 10 earned - on 15 hits and one walk. Rachelle Jackson allowed 10 runs - seven earned - on 13 hits and four walks in the game-two loss.
Jay County (3-11, 2-4 Olympic Athletic Conference) was held to just three hits in each game.
Kendra Younger and Taylor Franklin each came up with a hit in both games. Younger singled in the first and had an RBI double in the second, and Franklin had an RBI double in game one and a single in game two.
