Vormohr and Lee were the only Jay County swimmers to win three events on the evening. Vormohr took the 13-14-year-old girls butterfly, individual medley and breaststroke, and Lee won the 15-and-older boys long freestyle, butterfly and individual medley.

Jay season ends
The athletic season for the 2003-04 school year officially ended for Jay County Saturday. Patriot golfers Tyler Johnston and Alex Hunt each completed their year as they fell short of earning a trip to the state tournament.
Johnston finished with the same 6-over-par score as he did at the sectional meet Monday, June 7. But, he came up nine strokes short, as the top three teams and the top three other individuals advanced to play at The Legends of Indiana Golf Course in Franklin Tuesday.
Hunt finished with a 90.
No. 7 Norwell won the event with a team score of 291 on the par-70 course at Edgewood Golf Club in Anderson. Richmond, Yorktown and Anderson each shot 292, with Richmond and Anderson advancing by virtue of their fifth player’s score.
Brandon Pike of Huntington North (67) was the regional medalist as he won in a playoff for the second straight week. Joining him with 67s were Josh Baldwin of Noblesville and Eric Barnes of Marion.
