Last week vs. Greenville: The Green Wave scored two touchdowns in the final three minutes of the first half and came up with big plays late to beat Jay County 28-19. Quarterback Jacob Burk connected with Zach Guillozet for a TD on fourth-and-goal with 1:54 to go and hit Selo Ramjattan for a 2-point conversion for the nine-point lead. Caleb Adkins intercepted a Zach Cash pass to halt the Patriots' final drive. Michael Daniels scored all three JCHS touchdowns as he ran 20 times for 63 yards.
Season leaders: Passing - Zach Cash - 52-of-118 for 570 yards and three TDs. Rushing - Michael Daniels - 167 carries for 731 yards and 11 TDs, Cash - 76 carries for 386 yards and four TDs. Receiving - Ben Vance - 24 receptions for 213 yards and two TDs, Patrick Williams - 13 receptions for 198 yards.

Last week vs. Homestead: New Haven fell behind 29-0 at halftime on the way to a 43-6 defeat. Quarterback Zach Terrell had three TD passes - to three different players - and two scoring runs as he ran 10 times for 105 yards and went 14-of-25 passing for 248 yards for the visiting Spartans. Brandon Pease scored the lone touchdown for the Bulldogs on a 19-yard reception from Lucas Salemo in the third quarter.
Season leaders: Passing - Lucas Salemo - 70-of-153 for 1,083 yards and 16 TDs. Rushing - Frank Lloyd - 207 carries for 1,532 yards and 11 TDs. Receiving - Brandon Pease - 27 receptions for 651 yards and 10 TDs, Nate Savieo - 14 receptions for 160 yards and one TD. Defense - Trentyn Burford - 72 tackles.
Last meeting: Mark McEwen connected with Rocky Williams for two TD passes - 10 yards in the second quarter and 12 yards in the third - and a 2-point conversion as the Patriots beat New Haven 22-8 in the third week of 1977 season. Jeff Alberson ran 15 times for 84, including a 2-yard TD, and John Fullenkamp added 73 yards on 17 carries. Jay County, which trailed 8-0 after the opening quarter, out-gained the Bulldogs 250-99.
