Last week vs. Adams Central: Blackford managed just seven rushing yards in the first half and had problems holding on to the ball throughout a 28-0 loss to the Flying Jets. Adams Central led just 8-0 at halftime, but pulled away after the intermission to win the first meeting between the two schools since 1971. Chris McGahey's 26 yards on four carries led the Bruins' offense.
Season leaders: Rushing - Chris McGahey - four carries for 26 yards, Ben Townsend - 25 yards.

Last week at Delta: The Patriots gave up 42 first-half points, including three touchdowns in the final 4:13 of the second quarter. Ozzie Mann went 12-of-19 passing for 215 yards and four touchdowns to lead Delta. Zach Overfield racked up 104 yards on the ground, and Teddy Dawson caught four passes for 103 yards and had 68 yards rushing. Michael Daniels carried 17 times for Jay County for 60 yards, and Ben Vance had the lone touchdown on a 15-yard run.
Season leaders: Passing - Zach Cash - 3-of-16 for 17 yards. Rushing - Michael Daniels - 17 carries for 60 yards, Ben Vance - two carries for 36 yards and one TD. Receiving - Ben Vance - two receptions for five yards, Drew Houck - one reception for 12 yards.
Last meeting: Blackford scored 26 fourth-quarter points to rally for a 46-41 win over the Patriots, sealing the victory with an interception in the closing minutes. Jorden Nickols paced the Bruins with TD runs of 18, 29, 61 and 63 yards as he totaled 184 yards on the ground. Tyler Riley added 136 rushing yards. Billy Wellman led Jay County with 21 completions for 238 passing yards and two TDs, and Adam Garringer caught 11 passes for 135 yards.
