Last week vs. Blackford: Michael Daniels scored two first-quarter touchdowns and Adam Coats had a 93-yard interception return for a TD as the Patriots rolled out to a 28-0 lead in the first 12 minutes on the way to a 43-13 win. Daniels rushed for 127 yards and scored a third TD in the third quarter. Zach Cash completed 7-of-11 passes for 82 yards and a TD to Ben Vance.
Season leaders: Passing - Zach Cash - 10-of-27 for 99 yards and one TD. Rushing - Michael Daniels - 35 carries for 187 yards and three TDs. Receiving - Ben Vance - five receptions for 24 yards and one TD.

Last week at Connersville: Franklin County opened the fourth quarter with a 19-6 lead only to have Spartans quarterback Zach Hufferd toss two TD passes to rally his team to a 20-19 win. Hufferd tossed for three TDs and nearly 300 yards. Austin Neeley completed half of his 10 passing attempts for 135 yards and two TDs to lead the Wildcats.
Season leaders: Passing - Austin Neeley - 8-of-16 for 157 yards and and two TDs. Rushing - Pete Schalk - 28 carries for 94 yards and two TDs. Receiving - Blake Copley - four receptions for 77 yards and one TD.
Last meeting: Billy Wellman broke the Jay County school record for touchdown passes in a game with seven before halftime as the Patriots throttled Franklin County 56-25. He finished with a school-record 401 passing yards. Dexter Shreve caught five passes for 204 yards and three TDs, Brandon Reynard had 134 yards and three TDs and Adam Garringer caught three passes for 63 yards and at TD.
Game notes: The teams have split their four games, with Jay County winning in both 2007 and '08 ... Franklin County has won just two of its last 22 games, both against Connersville ...
