Last week at University School: The Green Wave fell behind 35-0 in a 49-15 loss to the school in suburban Cleveland. Greenville committed four turnovers while forcing just five third downs and a single punt from the Preppers.
Season leaders: Passing - Jacob Burk - 32-of-78 for 292 yards and three TDs. Rushing - Selo Ramjattan - 104 carries for 521 yards and two TDs, Alec Watkins - 72 carries for 333 yards and eight TDs. Receiving - Zac Guillozet - 11 receptions for 88 yards and one TD. Defense - Jordy Schricker - 50 tackles.

Last week vs. Muncie Southside: On a sloppy field Jay County was limited to less than 100 yards of total offense in a 20-6 loss to the Rebels. Southside's McKenzee Nash picked up 78 rushing yards out of the Wildcat formation, including a 52-yard touchdown run, and intercepted a pair of passes. Shaq Buchanan added 82 yards and two TDs on 15 carries. Patrick Williams scored the lone Patriot TD on a 71-yard kickoff return.
Season leaders: Passing - Zach Cash - 43-106 for 509 yards and three TDs. Rushing - Michael Daniels - 147 carries for 668 yards and 8 TDs, Cash - 68 carries for 352 yards and four TDs. Receiving - Ben Vance - 19 receptions for 186 yards and two TDs, Patrick Williams - 11 receptions for 189 yards.
Last season: Zach Melling scored on at 72-yard run on the second play from scrimmage, added TD runs of 1, 2, 3, 6, 13 and 50 yards and set a school record with 296 rushing yards to lead Greenville to a 53-20 win over the Patriots. He was just the 17th player in Ohio history to score at least seven touchdowns in a game, finishing one short of the state record. Billy Wellman tossed a 61-yard TD pass to Dexter Shreve as he finished 15-of-23 for 216 yards. He also had a rushing touchdown.
Game notes: Jay County's offense has been shut out in each of the last two games. It's last touchdown came in the third quarter of the 37-36 loss Sept. 25 to Connersville ... The Green Wave's only win this year came against West Carollton, which is 6-1 and fourth in the computer rankings in Ohio's Division II Region 8. The top eight teams in each region advance to the state playoffs ... The Patriots have lost five straight games.
